Career, technology students compete in SkillsUSA event

Numerous Central Westmoreland Vocation and Know-how Heart students put at the SkillsUSA Point out Competition in Hershey in April.

The celebration, which was held at the Hershey Lodge & Conference Center, brought learners together from across the state to contend in various talent sets such as laptop data science, health care terminology, automotive, health and fitness treatment and extra.

Winners will go on to compete nationally.

This calendar year, pretty much 50 CWCTC students competed at the state amount.

Seventeen put first or next in several competitions, and 3 some others took 3rd area.

Winners incorporate: Charisma Diehl, sophomore at Mt. Enjoyable Space Senior Substantial College Elizabeth Marquez, sophomore at Hempfield Area Superior Faculty Gabrielle Hult, sophomore at Greensburg Salem High College Keara Richey, junior at Hempfield Space and Jenna Darrell, sophomore at Southmoreland Senior Superior University.

Other award recipients contain: Lauryn Winfield, a senior at Jeannette Junior-Senior Large School, who took second location in job interviewing

Lucas Mulhorn, a senior at Southmoreland, and Caelyn Fourier, a senior at Clairview Faculty, just about every took third place in website style

Tori White and Wyatt Barnhart, juniors at Mt. Pleasurable, took second put in American spirit

David Dougan, a senior at Southmoreland, took second position in cabling

Camryn McMullen-Jones, a sophomore at Norwin, took very first location in professional medical terminology. McMullen-Jones will transfer on to the national opposition in Atlanta from June 20-24.
