Our 3rd Library 2.022 mini-meeting: “Libraries and Privacy: Important Troubles for Details Industry experts,” will be held on-line (and for free of charge) on Thursday, October 13th, 2022, from 12:00 – 3:00 pm US-Pacific Time.

Dr. Darra Hofman been given her Ph.D. in library, archival, and info science from The College of British Columbia in 2020. She concluded her M.L.I.S. from the College of Kentucky and her J.D. and B.A. (honors) from Arizona State College. Her exploration examines the intersection of archives, engineering, and legislation. OPENING KEYNOTE PANEL

Rebecca Tsosie is a Regents Professor at the James E. Rogers College of Law at the College of Arizona. Professor Tsosie, who is of Yaqui descent, is a college member for the Indigenous Peoples’ Law and Policy Plan at the University of Arizona, and she is broadly recognised for her work in the fields of Federal Indian law and indigenous peoples’ human rights. Prior to signing up for the UA college, Professor Tsosie was a Regents’ Professor and Vice Provost for Inclusion and Local community Engagement at Arizona State College. Professor Tsosie was the 1st college Govt Director for ASU’s Indian Legal Application and served in that place for 15 decades. Professor Tsosie has released greatly on sovereignty, self-determination, cultural pluralism, environmental coverage and cultural rights. She teaches in the regions of Federal Indian Law, Property, Constitutional Legislation, Significant Race Concept, and Cultural Methods Legislation. Professor Tsosie is a member of the Arizona Bar Association and the California Bar Association. Professor Tsosie serves as a Supreme Court Justice for the Fort McDowell Yavapai Country and as an Affiliate Choose on the San Carlos Tribal Court of Appeals. She been given her B.A. and J.D. levels from the College of California, Los Angeles.
